“I’ve been an elite athlete for a large portion of my life, so I have always been pretty disciplined and ate “well” but once I retired from competition I tried the Keto diet after a few people swore by it and not after long it really had messed up my hormones! I turned to Drew who did the food sensitivities test (which confirmed things I knew but also gave me insight into things I didn’t!) and we developed a plan based on the results and slowly reintegrating items…
My cycle returned and I had more energy and clarity for work outs. Although I’m not competing at the international level anymore, this information and Drew’s expertise has been super helpful for me and getting me feeling back to normal with more energy.

“I reached out to Drew in October for help in trying to figure out the reason behind why I had been feeling lethargic, unmotivated, physically exhausted, bloating after meals, and not losing weight despite daily workouts and my low caloric intake. I was beginning to accept that Im just getting older and this must be a part of that process. I’m a little over a month in, and have eliminated dairy and to a large extent gluten from my diet and have added in different types of supplements through out the day at Drew’s recommendation….
I’m noticeably (for me) much less bloated, less irritated, more focused, and have also noticed that my energy seems to have picked up a bit especially in the mornings and at workouts.
I’ve also noticed that changes in what I’m eating, how much and when I’m eating is playing a big role in my physical changes and energy levels. “I started working with Drew about a year ago as I knew I needed help with my nutrition. I had just joined the cross country team and it was a struggle to run 3-4 miles. I was exhausted most of the time. This did not help as I attend a military academy and was in a leadership position. At the time, I was also following a vegetarian diet which, as Drew pointed out, did not fulfill my protein requirements necessary for my sport and activities which left me depleted….
Drew and I worked together to figure out a meal plan to fulfill all of my nutritional requirements for my activity levels, alternative testing to screen for any depletions, functional foods to help with stamina and energy; and supplements to replace those that were low. From these changes, I now feel much more confident around food. I completed my first half marathon last October and felt “incredibly energized.” This year, I set PRs in my 5K for college and excelled in my annual fit test for the military academy. Each week, Drew and I were troubleshooting to tweak my nutrition, hydration. etc. around my running workouts and modify them when needed. She has helped me so much in this area and has truly taught me the importance of pre, intra and post workout nutrition to fuel my training. Drew also taught me about the benefits of training around my ovarian cycle which has further helped my performance. After working with Drew for the past year, I am more confident about my food choices and allow myself treats without the guilt, I have much more energy and stamina and I have surpassed my athletic goals as an endurance athlete. Drew has also given me the confidence to build on my previous athletic endeavor and I have thus signed up for my first marathon scheduled for the end of October 2023! Drew is truly amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their athletic performance and exceed their goals."

“I have had no sense of smell for about 15 years due to nasal polyps. I have been on and off different medications throughout the years, and nothing made my sense of smell return. I finally decided to try something new and started meeting with Drew. She made a lot of great suggestions and offered a ton of recipes….
I truly appreciate how she took the time to tailor the recipes and suggestions to me – for example, I don’t like anything spicy, or avocado, so the recipes never included those ingredients. I never felt that this was a “cookie-cutter” nutrition program where the same suggestions are given to everyone; Drew really took the time to create a program that was good for me as an individual.
I also took advantage of a service she offers where she accompanies the client to a grocery store and shows them how to shop, what brands to look for, things to avoid, etc. This was immensely helpful because I was trying a gluten-free diet, but had no idea what I was doing and the whole endeavor was overwhelming. But Drew simplified everything by helping me shop for a week’s worth of food, which was much more manageable than trying to learn “everything.” Equally as helpful, Drew always follows up our sessions with emails, so I don’t have to try to remember everything. I can refer back to these emails if I need a refresher or want to try a new recipe.
The most wonderful thing is that my sense of smell has started to return! I attribute this to the clean-eating way taught to me by Drew.
I highly recommend this lovely Nutritionist, whether you have a medical issue or just want to be healthier. She helped me when doctors couldn’t, and I am very grateful.

When Drew initially asked if I needed her to take me shopping, I replied ,”no”. I thought, ‘really I certainly know how to shop for healthy food.’ In the end, Drew came shopping with me and explained vitamin content, food processing issues, and the difference in taste in certain vegetables and grains. We went home and cooked up some healthy dishes.
