Weddings, events, or celebrations—you want to feel confident, energized, and great in your body.

You’re living with a chronic condition

You’re looking for real strategies to manage autoimmune, nervous system, or digestive health symptoms.

You’re tired of not feeling like yourself

Exhaustion, bloating, and food anxiety rule your days—and you’re ready to feel strong and clear again.

Work with a Digestive Health Nutritionist to Heal Your Gut

Holistic digestive health coaching designed to heal your gut because lasting relief starts with a personalized plan.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Bloating, cramping, and unpredictable digestion? IBS makes it hard to enjoy food and feel at ease—but relief is possible with the right approach. Together, we’ll find your triggers and create a plan that supports healing without overwhelming your lifestyle.

Why it happens:

  • Disrupted gut-brain signals.
  • Food sensitivities.
  • Poor motility.

What helps:

  • Low-FODMAP plan with reintroductions

  • Soluble fiber (chia, oats)

  • Avoid sugar alcohols & snacking all day

  • Mindful, stress-aware eating

GERD (Acid Reflux)

Heartburn, throat irritation, or that sour aftertaste? Chronic acid reflux often comes down to when and how you eat—not just what you eat. I’ll help you adjust your habits so meals feel good again.

Why It Happens:

  • Weakness in the lower esophageal sphincter (LES)

  • Trigger foods (caffeine, chocolate, or spicy dishes)

  • Eating too close to bedtime or overeating

What helps:

  • Smaller meals, no eating 2–3 hrs before bed

  • Avoid caffeine, mint, tomato, chocolate

  • Soothing foods: cooked greens, oatmeal, ginger

Gluten Sensitivity / Celiac Disease

If gluten leaves you bloated, foggy, or in pain, it’s time to explore a new way of eating that nourishes your body without constant worry. Whether you have celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity, we’ll create a sustainable plan for real relief.

 Why It Happens:

  • Immune reaction to gluten
  • Damaged gut lining
  • Inflammation
  • Food intolerances

What helps:

  • Strict gluten elimination (wheat, barley, rye)

  • Watch for hidden gluten (sauces, supplements)

  • Focus on naturally gluten-free whole foods (quinoa, potatoes, legumes)

  • Rebuild gut health with zinc, B vitamins, and probiotics

Autoimmune Related Digestive Conditions

Autoimmune challenges like Hashimoto’s, rheumatoid arthritis, and celiac often create a perfect storm for gut issues. When your immune system is on high alert, it affects digestion, energy, and overall well-being. Together, we’ll calm the chaos and support your body’s natural healing process.

 Why It Happens:

  • Leaky gut (intestinal permeability)

  • Immune system dysregulation

  • Chronic inflammation

  • Nutrient deficiencies (zinc, selenium, vitamin D)

  • Trigger foods (often gluten, dairy, soy)

What helps:

  • Strict gluten elimination (wheat, barley, rye)

  • Watch for hidden gluten (sauces, supplements)

  • Focus on naturally gluten-free whole foods (quinoa, potatoes, legumes)

  • Rebuild gut health with zinc, B vitamins, and probiotics

Digestive Nutritionist FAQ

Foundational Nutrition

A balanced diet isn’t about perfection or restriction—it’s about creating a plate that leaves you feeling energized, satisfied, and nourished. Think whole foods first: colorful veggies, lean proteins, healthy fats, and quality carbohydrates like sweet potatoes or quinoa. And yes, there’s room for joy foods too! The real balance is found in how these foods support your lifestyle and health goals—not in cutting everything out that makes you smile.

If you’re constantly crashing after eating, it’s often a sign of blood sugar spikes or poor digestion. Together, we’ll explore how to balance your meals with the right mix of protein, fiber, and healthy fats to keep your energy stable. Sometimes it’s as simple as swapping that carb-heavy lunch for something with more staying power—think grilled chicken over greens with olive oil and quinoa.

Absolutely! You don’t have to live in fear of dessert. Instead, we focus on reducing added sugars that sneak into everyday foods and balancing sweet treats with nourishing meals. It’s about learning how to enjoy sugar mindfully—without letting it control your cravings or energy.

Start by asking: Is this advice personalized? Is it sustainable? And does it make sense for my lifestyle and body? If the answer is no, keep scrolling. My approach is rooted in evidence-based science and real-life results, tailored to your unique needs. No fads. No quick fixes. Just honest, compassionate guidance.

Digestive Health

Bloating is your body’s way of saying something’s not quite right. It could be a food sensitivity, imbalanced gut bacteria, or even stress affecting digestion. Together, we’ll play nutrition detective and find out what’s behind that discomfort—so you can finally enjoy meals without worrying about how you’ll feel afterward.

Think fiber-rich plants, fermented foods like kimchi and kefir, bone broth for gut lining support, and plenty of hydration. But remember—there’s no one-size-fits-all list. Some “gut-friendly” foods might not be right for you right now, and that’s okay. We’ll create a plan that feels good for your body.

Yes, and it’s one of my specialties. Strategies like a guided low-FODMAP approach or calming the gut-brain axis through nutrition can significantly reduce symptoms like bloating, gas, and cramping. The key is doing it with structure and support—no random Google diets here.

Your gut and brain are deeply connected. Stress can slow digestion, cause bloating, or even trigger IBS flares. That’s why my approach combines nutrition with lifestyle strategies to calm your nervous system and support smoother digestion. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your gut is take a deep breath and slow down.

You might notice patterns—bloating after dairy, fatigue after gluten, or skin flare-ups after certain meals. We’ll take a systematic approach with food journals and gentle elimination trials to uncover what’s really going on. No expensive labs required—just good detective work and support.

Start simple: cut back on processed foods, prioritize whole foods, add in fermented options like sauerkraut or kefir, and give your body time to heal. Consistency is key. And you don’t have to do this alone—I’m here to walk the healing path right alongside you.

Immunity & Inflammation

Over 70% of your immune system lives in your gut! A healthy, diverse microbiome helps your body fight off illness and reduces chronic inflammation. When your gut is out of balance, your immune defenses are weaker. This is why gut health is the foundation of my approach for autoimmune and chronic conditions.

There’s no single “perfect” diet, but anti-inflammatory eating is a powerful place to start. Think colorful veggies, omega-3 rich foods like salmon and walnuts, and removing common triggers like gluten or dairy if needed. We’ll create a plan based on your symptoms and body—not just what the internet says.

Sports Nutrition

It depends on your workout! For quick energy, try a combo of easy-to-digest carbs and light protein—like a banana with almond butter or Greek yogurt with berries. We’ll fine-tune it based on whether you’re doing endurance training, strength work, or just heading out for a light session.

Ideally within 30–60 minutes. That’s when your body is primed to absorb nutrients for muscle repair and recovery. A post-workout smoothie with protein and carbs or a balanced meal works perfectly to speed up recovery and keep you feeling strong.

If you’re feeling constantly tired, recovering slowly, or hitting performance plateaus, chances are you’re under-fueling—even if you think you’re eating “healthy.” Together, we’ll assess your energy needs and make sure your nutrition actually matches your activity level.

Celiac & Gluten-Free Living

Celiac is an autoimmune disease that causes gut damage when you eat gluten. Gluten intolerance, or sensitivity, doesn’t cause permanent damage but still creates uncomfortable symptoms like bloating, fatigue, and brain fog. Both deserve attention and care—just with slightly different strategies.

Not necessarily! Many gluten-free products are ultra-processed and low in nutrients. The healthiest gluten-free diet focuses on naturally gluten-free whole foods—like quinoa, sweet potatoes, and lots of fresh produce. We’ll make sure your meals aren’t just gluten-free, but truly nourishing.
